Symposion in Memory of George Placzek

[18.06.2005] Two life anniversaries of George Placzek will come in 2005 - World Year of Physics: that of his birth on September 1905 (Brno, Moravia, Czech Republic) and his passing away on October 1955 (Zürich, Switzerland).

The organizers (Masaryk University in Brno, Brno University of Technology, City of Brno, Brno Centre for European Studies, Union of Czech Mathematicians and Physicists) will appreciate communications related to Placzek's life or his contribution to physics.
